my boyfriend's mom is being sued for my accident! What is the name of your state? Illinois. In may, I fell down my boyfriend's stairs at his mom's house. I just missed a step accidently. After this accident I saw a chiropractor to fix my sprain in my lower back. Yesterday, my boyfriend's mom gets a letter saying that my insurance company is suing her for me falling!!! I want to refuse those charges. Can my insurance company sue his parents without my permission? Please answer soon! |

| Did the insurance company send someone over to the house to take a look at the stairs to see if the they were rounded, worn or dangerous in any manner?

| Yes, they're suing her homeowner's policy under liability. |
