my daughter fell through floor

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? indiana
i was leasing a house and noticed the floor was sinking in close to the tub and called the leasing company several times, no one responded for about 2 months, then finally they came over and said it needed replaced a.s.a.p then didnt hear from them again, on a sunday morning my 4 year old daughter was getting out of the tub and fell through the floor if i hadnt caught her she would have went all the way to the basement, had to go to er and get 8 stitches, and she had busted up ribs and lots of scratches and bruising, they fixed it half assed never said they were sorry or offered to pay hospital bills, does anyone think it would be worth sueing them, i have lots of pictures and she will carry some of the scars for life. thanks for your help

Get a lawyer, I would say you have a very strong case. My little brother won a similar case!

I think you have a good chance of getting the medical bills paid, at least. Speak with a lawyer as soon as possible. I hope you documented in writing when you notified the landlord of the problem with the floor, phone calls are hard to prove.
