My son is getting bite by another child in daycare

What is the name of your state? Indiana
My 2 year old son continues to get bitten by a 2 year old girl in his daycare class. Within the last 6 months, he has been bitten approximately 11 times (twice sever enough to break skin and draw blood) and scratched once (across the back of his neck) by the same child. The daycare providers assure us they are working with the parents of the other child, but by Indiana State law, they are not required take the child out of the daycare enter and send the child home with the parents for the day unless she bites 3 times within 1 day. She bit our son 5 times within a 7 working day period! We are at our wits end as to how to handle this. We have taken pictures of the latest bite and are wanting to take him to the doctor, just to document the seriousness of this issue. Legally, what options do we have, if any? I don't know how else to get the parents of this child to understand how frustrating this is for us. Our son doesn't bite children, but we are afraid this is a habit he could learn from being bitten all the time.

Maybe you should have a talk with the girls parents personally. If it doesnt work, you might have to find another daycare. I don't see this Daycare being that reputable if they keep brushing this under the rug

Best day care

It seems you child is not getting proper attention from the care takers of the day care. Its the responsibility of the owner of the day care to employee a correct caretaker. For better day care ideas visit http://www.daycaresurvey.com/
