What is the name of your state? North Carolina
I was in my back yard in April when the wind blew the neighbors unsecured trampoline into and thru fence hitting me knocking me out causing numerous medical problems , loss of numerous orchids that I was prepairing to use for a busissness I was starting.I was not employed at the time and I am unable to work or drive since the accident and can not even sit or ride for long.. I am having to go to a pain specialist and continuing to take about 5 different medications. I am suffering personal , physical and mental injuries since I was knocked down and was unconcious. I am having to hire people to drive me to and from appointments and elsewhere. The neighbors have since erected another of the same brand trampoline but this time they have secured it as the directions state several times.
I have bought copies of the assembly instructions for both the trampoline and the netted surround which state numerous times to either take it down or to secure it with anchors incase of high winds. Do I have a case and what kind of average amount can I expect the insurance to settle for?:(

Depends on LOTS of factors. Talk with a local personal injury attorney.

There is no such thing as an 'average amount' in a case like this. In the event of an award for damages, it could go from $1.00 or less up to the full amount of your PROVEN related medical costs, plus a few hundred dollars.

Tes I know that but what is a way to figure out how much to ask for???
Pretty simple... you total up your REAL medical bills... and ask for that.
