Pain and SufferingWhat is the name of your state? South Dakota I tripped over large rock in parking lot. This rock is normally in busness landscaping but was kicked onto driveway by somene taking shortcut to vehicle. I received major body damage which may affect the rest of my life. Do I have recourse here? Last edited by redbran; 04-03-2008 at 05:55 PM. Reason: did not understand procedure |

| Agree with ecmst. And you can tell by the number of my posts, I do not do this full time. ![]() Common sense, people. Not a hard concept. |

| You possibly have a case against the driver who caused the rock to roll into the parking lot. ![]() |

| I'm curious to know what the "major body damage" is... Not that it makes any difference because it's still their own fault. It's just that I can only picture someone twisting their ankle or bruising themself when they fall, and that's not major. |

Might be careful to keep it quiet though. The owner of the driveway might sue you for damages caused by your thick head hitting the ground.
