Personal injury

What is the name of your state?Pennsylvania
I was at a friends house working on her computer. My kids and her daughter were playing in the back yard. My son tried to help the daughter break a branch she was trying to break. The branch ended up hitting the girl in the eye. As a result she needed stitches and had pieces of branch surgically removed. This was an accident. They talked to a lawyer and their lawyer told her our homeowners insurance should pay for whatever her regular insurance doesn't cover.

My question: am I responsible to pay for this accident?

You were at a friends house? Her homeowners would cover it. Since it's her child, why not file medical?
