Personal InjuryNew York My injury arises out of Family Law. In 1999 I wrote two letters, return receipt requested, to the Dept of Social Services saying my wife should not be on public assistance because she has more than enough self employment income and because I was ready willing and able to take care of our children. Those letters were ignored. Now the Dept of S. S. has brought action against me in a child support proceeding for reimbursement of monies paid to my wife while denying me access to the children. Can I bring a personal injury action? And if so what kind of attorney do I need to go to?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |
