I live in MA. My landlord had a leak in his roof , as a result I was injured. I did seek medical treatment. I also have inspection reports on the unit. The landlord refused to give his insurance information to my attorney for a little over a year. However, my attorney has recently received the insurance information and has contacted the claims adjustor. I would like to know on an average how long does these type of cases take to settle?

If your case is simple and your treatment is complete, and the statute of limitations is 2 years, I would expect it to settle slightly before 2 years.
