slip and fall on iceWhat is the name of your state? NC Hello, As a hospice volunteer, I was injured in a slip and fall on ice accident in January 2004. I believe I have 3 years to file a claim to request reimbursement for medical care received as a result of the fall. Must the claim be received by the insurer on or before the anniversary of the injury? I am now a few days past the date. Also, could someone provide the citation for the relevant NC statute that covers this? Thank you for sharing your expertise. |

| Statute of Limitations: 3 years from act or discovery, whichever comes first. You are likely too late.
