Slip and Fall injury cannot return to work

What is the name of your state? Arizona

I had slip and fall accident at work in a building we rent space from. Contruction was going on and I tripped over debree left behind by the construction crew which required surgery on my knee and a 3 level lowerback surgery. At the time of injury I was making 90k a year. I cannot return to work. What is the average settlement for the injuries and the inability to return to work.

No one here has a calculator that will give you the answer that you are looking for.

Although you state that you can not return to your previous work, can you do any work?

Is this Worker's comp.?

Do you have the ability to do another job/any job?

There are many many factors that will have a play here.

Good luck, just went through the same deal surg. included. It has been 2 years, just settled and still see no $ from insurance co. They want to hang on to every penny to collect as much interest as possible. It is a major fight, but put up with it as long as you can. Get yourself a good attorney and normally what you sue for you may get about 1/2 of that. Multiply your meds. x's 2 or 3 and there is your #.

You can expect to receive payment for your medical bills and lost wages during your recovery. If you suffered a partial permanent disability, you can expect workers comp to award you a $ amount based on your disability rating.
Beyond that, you can expect to be called a liar for saying you can never work at any job ever again and to be denied longterm and/or Social Security Disabiity Benefits. If you choose to remain unemployed and live on whatever government support you can manipulate, you can expect to live below the poverty level for the rest of your life.

There is no prospect of receiving $90,000 per year for how many years it is from now until what would have been your expected date of retirement.

FYI--Soldiers without arms, legs, parts of the head, etc. are returning to work every day; some of them are even returning to active military duty. And, you hurt your knee and your back and want to sit on your laurels for eternity?
