SOL for personal injuryWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NC I was a Vendor at a craft show in Franklin NC on May 7th and one of the set up persons hit me in the leg with a large rolling cart. He took a very large chunk out of my leg and I was bleeding so bad they called for an Ambulance and took me to the local ER. I had 12 stitches and shots. I did return to the show but could not stand on my leg for much of the time. I have since been to my doctor 3 times and I am afraid I might have some nerve damage to the leg. I was waiting to see if this is perment. How long do I have before I have to see an attorney and file suit? So far I have lost 2 months of being able to work on this leg. Is there a SOL on this. Thank you. |

| In most states, the SOL is 2 years, so you should still have plenty of time, but don't wait too long. Now would be a good time to talk to a lawyer.
