My 12 year old son was at lunch recess and was hit in the mouth by a baseball thrown by another student. He broke four of his front teeth and had 5 stiches inside his upper lip. My insurance does not cover cosmetic dentistry is the school responsible at all? The other student? My son was not aware the ball was being thrown. The equipment was left on the field unattended. I am just wondering if I have any other options than my own insurance?Thanks

Unless you can show negligence on the part of the school or intent to harm on the part of the other child, you can fight it out with your insurance. This is NOT cosmetic dentistry. Speak with your dentist about dealing with the insurance company.
