Stop-N-Shop Fall

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Connecticut

I was walking in a local Stop-N-Shop and slipped and fell in an aisle that had a wet floor. A floor washing machine was recently run through the aisle, but there was no sign to indicate that the floor was wet. Sadly I went straight down on my knee that had been operated on only 8 months prior. I was in great pain and went the same day to the Dr. for an x-ray. Luckliy I did not break a bone or damage my new ACL. I was in pain for close to two weeks and had a very impressive black and blue on my knee where I hit the ground.

I am considering taking this store to small claims court as they have been unresponsive for 6 month in my attempts to resolve this case.

How much imoney should I claim for 2 weeks of pain and suffering in addition to the visit to the doctor for an x-ray?

Doctor visit, out of pocket expenses, pain and suffering, nothing. You suffered no permanant injuries.

If you're very lucky, you might get an extra $50.

I've never been impressed with bruises, and I was playing ice hockey eight months after my knee reconstruction (ACL & MCL).
