Texas: Teaching LiabilityWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas I am considering teaching a free karate class to students between the ages of 6 and 12 at a local public park on Saturday mornings. Besides waivers signed by the students and parents are there any other precautions that I need to look for? What else should I do to cover myself from any potential liability? I do not have "permission" from the public park to teach as it would be more group exercise in the same lines of meeting a group of friends and exercising or playing a sport. Thank you in advance. | And get permission from the park. In writing.
