Tobacco class action

I am the son of a woman who died from lung cancer. Her husband has already filed a class action lawsuit (my stepfather) and from what I understand he won. He filed this lawsuit without my knowing. He is now asking for a lot of information about all of her family and needs our help getting it. I was not named as a plaintiff in the lawsuit. Do I have any recourse to some of the money?

One person doesn't file a "class action."
One person may be part of a class and receive benefits from the class.
One person doesn't win. The class either wins or not.
You may be entitled to get some of the class settlement. You should inquire to the law firm handling the class action.
