I was walking to my car outside my apartment when I tripped on a sidewalk section. I tripped, fell and broke my collar bone. I was off work from April 2006 until January 2007 because my doctor didn`t release me to do my job which entails lifting 30+ lbs. approximately 500 times in 8 hours and there wasn`t other work available in the workplace. I incurred approx. $55,000 in lost wages and had approx. $2000 in medical which was mostly covered by my medical insurance. What should I expect in total damages? Since that time another section of the sidewalk has become the same hazard. I have notified the management company. This right outside my front door. They are not concerned with this situation.What is the name of your state?

How do we know what you should expect? Nothing that you stated in your post points to the management company as being negligent.
