The wind did itCalifornia A car was damaged after a gust of wind blew a headboard onto the customer's car. The headboard had been donated prior and was left outside until room was cleared inside the building. When the customer drove up she parks in-front of the headboard and that when the wind blew it against the car. Can the business be held liable for the damages even though we have no control over the wind? I am thinking this incident resembles those shopping cart incidents where the business is not liable because they have no control over the shopping carts. Thanks, |

| They can try, but your insurance company will defend you.
