| There are a lot of variables, all of which I will not go into. The main one is how old the person is and how much the person could earn. If you injure a thirty-year old who is making $100K a year, the lawyer can make this look good in front of a jury and get a bunch of dough (maybe). If you injure a 90-year old who is only social security, your award will not be very much. Yes, it's all about money. I am NOT a personal injury lawyer; stand by for other opinions.

Thanks seniorjudge, I guessed they would include wages but how would they factor in a permanent disibility of 21% (6% shoulder and 15% neck)? Is there any formula at all?

Kinda wondering what happened to any other opinions? I read somewhere that you could formulate 2-5 times your medical bills. Would this be including lost wages, future medical bills, pain and suffering and the disibility?

Thanks abaga, Do you know if that includes expected continuing medical care (roughly ($2500.00) a year, and the 21% disibility? I am only 42.

I have got about a 4 inch stack of facts and I have also kept a journal. I just want to make sure the attorney requests a fair amount since I will live with a disibility the rest of my life. This is why I was wondering how they figure an amount for a disibility ![]()
