Wrongful DeathWhat is the name of your state? TX Is it slander or harassment for someone that has information that could effect a wrongful death case to share it with the family of the deceased? Another way to put it, and is how I'm looking at it is, if in my opinion someone's state of mind at the time of hiring an individual that commited the alleged wrongful death was impared, and the interview was within a few weeks of the incident, could there be a connection between the hiring manager's inability to identify a potential liability due to their impairment, and the wrongful death? Additionally, if the corp. that owns the property, which is really who would be on trial, was notified of this potential impariment before hand and failed to act on it, would they then be liabel? As a manager, I've had an employee run his mouth about his private area at an all girls private school and when it came decision time about keeping him or firing him, it came down to what liability we as a company took on by having knowlege of his character. My leadership caved and we kept him, but that's another story. I'm having an issue with trying to know the right thing to do with what's above. There's more gory details directly related to this situation, but the first paragraph has at least the facts, ma'am. abe |

wowThen I'm scared. I'll be more specific. The incident occurred in June of this year, the hiring manager was addicted to a controlled substance, forensics would prove it, but I don't know how to relay the message to the family in a meaningful way. I desperately need to discredit the hiring manager because she's alleged some things against me because she thinks I would share this info. Not with the family of the deceased, but with her ex who wants custody. Man, what a pickle. She worked at hooters if that answers any questions one might have. Oh, and I'm a man. |

maybe I wasn't clear enoughYou know, maybe you're right. I'll just grin and bare it like a good american't. Or, I can seek justice and do whatever it takes, legally of course, to put someone in jail that has changed my life forever due to a false allegation, or two. While I'm at it, I might just relieve some grieving family members that has suffered the loss of someone very close to them, as well, someone that should be here today. "should", best word in the en dictionary. peace out. Hair test, of course. Last edited by Abe Froman; 12-18-2006 at 10:31 PM. |
