What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington
I would like to know if I can sell property left at my home by a person that I allowed to live here for a short time. This person owes me money for debt incurred while at my home. This person has been gone 2 months. The person gave no indication if they might return and retrieve their items. I have since contacted the person at their workplace and asked them to call me and talk about the monies owed, but the person refuses to pay or to discuss the matter. So may I sell the items to recover the monies owed, as I cannot get the person to respond in any matter regarding the situation.
