What is the name of your state? Louisiana

In an act of donation, such as a house. If a couple is married and the house was donated to the husband by his parent, if the husband, god forbid dies, and the parent that donated the house is still alive, who does the house revert to? The living spouse or back to the parent?

A: It depends on two things: what your state law says and what the deed says. To make sure it is done right, go to a real estate attorney in LA.
