Adverse Possession

What is the name of your state? Texas

I am a 1/8 owner in an undivided property where all co-owners have surface rights only. The surface rights were acquired by adverse possession 50 years ago.

How can I obtain 100% of the mineral rights by adverse possession? I have lived on the property for 20+ years and the minerals were never separated from the surface rights. I may actually already own the minerals by adverse possession but the change was never officially recorded. My desire is to adversely possess 100% minerals instead of 1/8. The current mineral owner, as recorded in the appraisal district and court house, is no longer a valid company.

**A: your issues require a lot of research into chain of title and State statutes.
