Question

advice on mortgage and title

What is the name of your state? texas
I'm moving for unforeseen reasons, and my brother and his wife are moving here and will be paying the mortgage. my mother is putting the house in their names on the title. i didn't know when i got the mortgage that i would be moving! several people have told me that the mortgage could be put in their name as well as the title, but others have told me that it cannot be done! i need any advice on how i can have the mortgage and title changed into their names! i don't know of any other way, i can do this. please give me any advice that will help me with this situation - i know that i signed the mortgage, but now i have to leave! how can i do this without everyone ending on the street? any advice is appreciated!! thanks

**A: have your brother et. al. buy the property via new purchase financing or through an installment contract.

Question

installment contract? new purchase financing?!

thanks for the reply so quickly! I'm not sure what an installment contract is, or the new purchase finance?! My family wants me to be clear of it, so that I will be able to pay for my rent and other bills once i move. how does an installment contract work, or the new purchase finance work?! i'm scared to call the mortgage company that gave me the mortgage because i'm not sure what they will do or say, especially since i had to file bankruptcy late last year! i move in about 2 months, and i don't know what to do! is one way better than the other (installment or finance)? is one way faster than the other? please give any advice that you can, i'm so worried and stressed! i don't know what to do!
