i am refinancing and will close on friday. as was the case with my home equity loan i did not seek legal counsel. i felt since there was no property changing hands etc., not necessary. however as the closing approaches i have concerns all of a sudden. i am consolidating primary mortgage and home equity loan. what do you suggest i look for and make sure is done at this refi closing. obviously a release from current debt obligations, make sure escrow is funded etc. any pointers, tips and advice is greatly appreciated. thank you in advance!

If you have an experienced mortgage broker advise you, he/she would check 3 day right of rescission, HUD-1, prepayment penalty, points and costs for the loan etc.
