You need to start putting your demands in writing. What type of foundation do you have; a concrete slab, basement, CMU, post and pier, PT etc.? What is the exact problem? Before any fix is done you should require an inspection by the project architect/engineer to determine and confirm the problems, specify remedial fix in writing and be on the job to supervise the work and sign off on the final inspection. All costs to be paid for by the contractor. Start documenting everything and keep a paper trail. You may need this evidence later. |
