we live in merriack, new hampshire in a town house association and our neighbor blocks access to our driveway. we have complained several times to our associations property manager, our board and even our town's police department. the police say the blocking is not a town issue it is the associations issue. the association has warned this neighbor several times with phone calls and letters to stop blocking. the blocking stopped only temporarily. we complained again, the association put up a sign by the driveway to stop blocking. the sign is effective. now the association wants to take down the sign. how can we stop this process? what are our rights? if past history is any indication of what is to come in future events the blocking will re-assume.

a very simle solution is for the HOA to contract with a towing company. Then warn the offender and also post a tow away sign. Once their car gets towed away, the message will be loud and clear.
