I am interested in a house on Hyattsville Marlyand that has boarded windows. The house appears to have been abandoned and everything left on the property including a lawnmower, trash , and a stove in front of the garage. In addition, several letters have been placed (one for each month abandoned) on the door indicating that the property must be temporarily boarded. What does this mean and is there any way I can find out if the owner and/or bank will be putting it up for sale? Thank you

Contact the building dept and the real property tax office to find out the status and to get the owner's contact info.
If you know a Realtor, the Realtor should be able to obtain the info.
