Exclamation

Buyer hasnt filed for ownership

What is the name of your state?Hi I live in New york state and sold a house to someone out of state using a quit claim deed and the buyer paid through paypal. This was last Feb.2004 and i have recieved tax bills and a bill for boarding up the house in my name, mailed to my exes house so i didnt recieve them on time.I called the county clerk where the house is located and they told me its up to the buyer to show he owns the house. My concerns are the house is still in my name and i do not want this going on to my credit report as well as the house sooner or later will go up for auction due to nonpayment of taxes!! I havent the buyers home address , i do have his email and have written him but he hasnt written back.Im afraid to pay the taxes due for him to turn around and claim the house and im out money i dont have.ANYYYYYY heheh help ???thank you

**A: great. You sell your home, use paypal and do not even have the Buyer's home address?
Psst, hey, you wanna buy some real fake rollex watched for cheap? Maybe some swamp land in Florida? Or perhaps get $25 million from a VIP high officer through a Nigerian bank account?

Yes it was on Ebay haha, no it isnt a mobile home and why I sold it as i did was because my plans fell through due to health reasons and needed a fast sale for something I paid little for. I did recieve the money for the house. As far as the buyers address I do have it but in storage. I can't listen any more I'm drained from my plight and wont ask you anymore due to fear of being sued for you're emotional stress.

Execute a new quit claim deed and record in the land records of the county where the land is located.

This is what you said you did: sold a house to someone out of state using a quit claim deed....

Did you not sign a deed to that buyer when you did this?

If so, then sign another one to the buyer just like the first one.

If not, then you have not sold the land; you just took someone's money under false pretenses.
