My girlfiend and I bought a house two years ago. We are ending the relationship now. She wants to keep the house and take my name off the lease. I informed her that we either sell the house jointly or she can pay me the split of the profit. We live in Md. Are there any other options?

My response: either sell the property or have her buy you out.
What lease?

no lease

There is no lease. My mistake. Just mortgage. Also, is there any time limit on when she can pay in full. Is that something resolved mutually or is there a legal issue with this? Thank you for your earlier response.
