Missouri My mom says she is going to sell the property that I live because she has credit card bills that she can't pay. My name is on the deed along with her's. | She COULD sell - her interest, that is. But she can't sell the whole place without you signing off on the deed. Mom can file a partition suit. Why don't you offer to buy out her interest at market value and refinance her off the mortgage? That way, you stay, she gets her money, and everybody is happy.
