Cancellation rights in Texas

I recently signed a lease at a real estate brokers office and have changed my mind. I signed the lease yesterday late afternoon and as of this morning the owner has not signed, I paid the deposit and for rent from Aug 25 to Aug 31, which was my move in date. Can I request to terminate the lease and get my monies back? I live in Texas and do not know what the laws are concerning this.

You can request to terminate but chances are you will not get your money back until the property is re-rented. Once you put down a deposit and signed the lease, you are on the hook. Did the real estate broker sign the lease and did you get a copy?
