Capital gains exemptionWhat is the name of your state? Kansas I am getting married; both my fiancée and me have lived at our residence 15 years plus. I am currently selling my house. We will be getting married the 1st of November, after that we would like to sell her house and buy one together. If her house were still in her name (after we are married) would she qualify for the capital gains tax exemption? Is there a way to qualify and still get married as planned? Thank You |
