ccontract or notWhat is the name of your state? new york My wife and I looked at and signed the contracts to purchase a home through a real estate agent. We were told it was a binding contract. The contract has a "subject to professional inspection" statement in it that my wife and I wanted to do. We have hired one and it will take place Sept. 5 My question is. After the inspection,if we do not feel comfortable with it for any reason can we cancel the signed contract?Even though the inspectors report might be fairly good? Some fast help with this would be deeply appreciated. Thanks Last edited by larkspur; 09-02-2003 at 05:55 PM. |

| "After the inspection,if we do not feel comfortable with it for any reason can we cancel the signed contract?" *** Very unlikely. "Even though the inspectors report might be fairly good?" *** Not relevant. Unless the agreement has some type of clause allowing you to cancel if a particular condition arises, the contract is very likely binding on you. After all, that IS the purpose of having you sign a contract.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
