What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
We have a residential ingress/egress easement that rund throught the middle of our property. Being the first of 4 houses on this "common driveway" we experience the most traffic which can be quite a headache. We realized the easement was there when we purchased the property and this would be an issue of sorts. What we didn't realize that the last person on the lane would be causing A LOT of traffic by running a horse boarding facility on her property. We have trailers in and out all day long and sometimes on the weekend it is non-stop! We have small children and safety is a huge factor. Are they allowed to run a business out of their home and use the easement for this purpose?

It depends on the wording of the easement. It will probably be fine, but no one can tell without reading the exact wording creating the easement. Even then, it might take more facts regarding the creation of the easement to tell.

**A: read the recorded easement agreement, deed restrictions (if any) and the local applicable zoning laws.
