I 'sold' several acres of commerical property to a man in July. He has only paid half of the down payment. I was carrying the loan. The contract was drawn up in his favor (due to my stupidity). He had 60 days to pay the other half of the down payment, which he did not do. I gave him additional time to come up with the money. The time was up on at the end of September. I have found the man to be a liar and unable to be financially sound enough to complete the terms of the long term contract. I have hired an attorney to start proceedings to take my property back. This buyer is threating all sorts of things against me. For my own piece of mind do you all think I will have any problem with getting back my property because of his defaulting on the contract he worded ?
