an owner placed his air conditioning unit (central air)on the roof of the condominium. the roof needed to be replaced. to do so, it was necessary to move the ac unit and then put it back. who pays for moving the ac - the owner or the association?

the condo is in florida.

Did the owner have permission to put the ac unit on the roof? The condo docs should specify who is responsible. If not, I say the apartment unit owner is.
