Hi,
I live with my mother in Pa. I was hit by a car three years ago and am still waiting for a settlement. We have been trying to hold onto her home all this time but this month we have run out of money. I am disabled from yhr accident and she has recently had a heart attack. She has about 50 percent equity in her home. would a consumer bankruptcy allow us to keep her home until I can pay with my settlement?
Thankyou,
kBiglers

First contact the lender and try to work out a payment plan. Possibly the amount in arrears can be tacked onto the loan etc.
Also consult with a BK attorney. The initial consultation should be free.
