| I am in search of an apt. in Brooklyn. While I have lived at my current residence for 7 years and worked at my present job for the same period of time, I recently became aware that the NY State Dept. of Tax And Finance issued an unsigned judgement against me for back taxes! I have requested conciliatory conferences etc.., to resolve the issue, but the information shows up on my credit report! Regardless of the fact that my credit history is excellent otherwise, It seems that in this "tight" market as if no one (mgmt companies etc..,) is interested in Renting to me. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? |
