Your post is confusing. Are both names are on the deed and what does the type of tenancy state?

deed to condo

i hope this is typed into the proper place this time. This is what tax assessor wrote me when they sent me copy of my deed "this office recently received a copy of the recorded deed conveying the above mentioned property to you. i have enclosed copy of deed showing some handwritten initials and you name, identified as husband and wife. is it the intention to have husband and wife ownership, if so we need the husband's name on the deed. if the property is owned by you alone, the wording husband and wife should be deleted. you should probably re-record the deed to correct the name(s) of the owner."Do i need a lawyer to re-record deed. can my husband's creditor's have any claim to condo he owes credit card debt my name is not on card and i have not signed any of his cobtracts. please advise. thank you home guru.

Hire an attorney to draft a new deed so there is no confusion as to title holder.
