I recently purchased property for construction of a new home. Later learned that my property is landlocked and is seperated from the public road by 22 feet. This property is in a remote area and this is the only route to my property. Question is can I force the Landowner to allow me access to my land? And if so what steps do I take.

Next time be sure you confirm legal ingres/egress. Now you must sue for an easement or right of way if nothing can be worked out.
