What is the name of your state? NY

My grandmother owned property for years uncle had a driveway cutting through center of proprty (about an acre) years ago but in the deed it shows his right of way, the property is being sold now due to granmothers illness and no buyers will take property with out driveway being cut off due to it taking so much property and them not paying taxes on it is there anyway to block driveaay leagally or do somthing? in the deed they have there own right of way

**A: have an attorney review the deeds to both properties. There is no way we can answer your question over the internet without reviewing the terms and conditions of deed restrictions.

There is no restrictions in the deed, the deed states that he has a right of way on their land but he has never put the driveway in and used the existing one

**A: the right of way is possibly considered a restriction or an encumbrance on the deed/land.

oK the right of way that was given on the deed itself is not being used they are still using the other that cuts through the lawn, they have not put in a driveway where the deed states it should be, can access to the existing one on her land be blocked legally
