I am a property owner form 28 years of my own house, behind my house ther is a Power Line from AEP. The power company does have and easement on my dead.
I have a row of pine trees the entire length of my property running under the power lines. AEP has contracted private company to top off the trees for the last 10 years+, Yesterday this contracted company came onto my property unannounced and began cutting the trees down to the ground.
This row of trees is a privacy barrior and a wind break and look beautiful.
Q. I realize AEP has the right to come onto my land,(reasonable access for reasonable maintance). Now that they have cut the tree completely down, What recourse do I have?
I am thinking of the element of Past Practice!!!!
