My sister in law is planning on finally building on her property behind us. Before my mothers death she granted an easement for her access. My question...when the road is being made-there is proposed over 10 huge oak trees that will have to come down...Do we (the owner of the original property)have to pay for the falling of the trees, if not, is the profit from such quantity of wood ours, the owner of the property?

Does the easement document make any reference to the trees or any other obstruction? If not the individuals that benefit from the easement pay for the tree felling and the wood belongs to the property owner.
