easements

we purchased a lot and built a home with an easement. The owner of the lot had sold the house next door with the easement and told us the easement was temporal and would be removed. He stopped returning our calls when the lot closed.
the new owners told us orally that they would not use it and give it back to us legally. Then they sold the home to someone else without giving it back. The new neighbors are our worst nightmare. They drive accross our established lawn and will not mediate moving the easement to give us bith separate driveways. We offererred to allow them to design a new one and we would pay for it.
They did not repond to our legal letter and they verbally threaten us. They park on it, empty boat bilges on it, drive fast accross it. whip around us if we are attempting to back out if our own driveway. They are asking for a "permanent injunction" against our using our own driveway that has the easement run accross.
