Question

Easment and who has what rights?

What is the name of your state? New York

We bought our home 1 year ago this past August 1st., we have been parking our truck and Jeep in front of the garage since we moved in. Recently were mailed a Letter from our nieghbors lawyer stating that we could not park in front of our Garage. He owns the land right up to the front of our garage.

Our Right of Way says:

TOGETHER wirh right of way for ingress and egress to said premises from county rt. 91 over .33 acre parcel being conveyed to Mr. John Doe.

SUBJECT TO easment, covenants and restrictions of records as they effect the premises.

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING the rights of the public in any adjoining or abutting roads.

TOGETHER with all rights, title and interest, if any, of the party of the first part in and to any streets and raods abutting to above described premises to the center lines thereof.

____________________________________________________

Does he have the right to resrtict us and our guests from parking in front of our garage since we have been for over a year and it is not stated we can't?

Also is he responsible for keeping the driveway cleared of snow?
