My neighbor has a carport that is supported by posts that are about 5 feet inside my property line. The other side is attached to a building on his property. I have a survey clearly showing this encroachment. However, he thinks the survey is wrong even though he does not have one for his property. He will not remove it. Can I take it down myself without getting into trouble.
