eviction notice

I have lived in the same apartment in Florida for the past 5 years with no problem. For the last year my boyfiend has lived here but his name is not on the lease. They knew he was here, he was with me when I signed the new lease. Now I have gotten an eviction notice that either he has to leave or I will be evicted in 7 days. In the mean while they have accepted and cashed my rent check for the entire next months rent.
Can they evict me for having an 'illegal occupant'?

Well what does your lease say? If it says NOTHING then you are allowed by law to have roomates PERIOD!

Tell the go ahead...and tell a judge there is NOTHING in the lease that prevents it.
