Ex won't sign for sale of timeshare

What is the name of your state? CA- Timeshare CO- Residence

My ex husband and I purchased a timeshare together in 1998, we divorced in 2000 and the timeshare was given to me in the divorce, but I did not know that I also had to remove his name from the title. The timeshare is now in closing and he has the papers to be notarized, but when I sent a notary out to him to have him sign, he refused to meet with the guy. Do I have any options here?
