"Family" cabin?

What is the name of your state? Oregon

My husband's parents purchased a cabin in the mountains in the early 1970's. We were married in 1982. In 1997 or 1998 a lightning strike burned it down, no insurance. It sat as a shell for 3 years until my husband tried to get his brothers and sister to put up money to rebuild. No one wanted to, so we gathered money out of our retirement and began to rebuild. They then put some money in and eventually pulled it out again. Today we have the majority of the money into it, and pay all the taxes, insurance, electricity, upkeep, etc. although his siblings have full access to the property. The land is on a 100 year lease. The deed has his mother's name 25% and my husband's name 75%, listed just like that. My name is not on the deed. I'm asking my husband to put my name on it because I'm afraid if anything happens to him, it will go to probate and his siblings will get the 25% that his mother owns. What other legal problems could I face without my name on the deed? What is the name of your state?

Unless you want a big fat mess to clean up later at an even greater cost get an Atty to do things right!
