farm trustWhat is the name of your state?MD I have a friend who wants to sell her farm, but she wants to make sure that it never gets developed. Someone told her to put it in a 'farm trust.' I have never heard this term before; what does it mean, and do we have it in MD? |

| Not to step on HomeGuru's toes, but make sure that "development" is defined. Buyers still want to be able to build/rebuild a home or barn on the property, put in a driveway, etc. Also, if the land is large enough, buyers would also want to have one house on each portion if the land gets split up into two farms. |
